Discussing the quote
Quote: "In France, we work in order to live, but in America it seems you live in order to work." Jerry Craft
One person from each table shared what they think this quote means. Jonah's table summarized that they think the quote means that in America, work is you personality and that everyone and everything revolves around work, but in France the people know to enjoy life and not everything is about work. Sadie's table said that here in America we don't enjoy work, but in France they work to enjoy.
iReady
After, Ms. Nakada went over how the 7th and 8th grade iReady scores work. Once Ms. Nakada was done explaining, she told everyone to take out their Chromebooks so they can start their English iReady diagnostic.
