Take-a-minute & blog - corrections
As the bell rang, my peers walked into the class. Some were looking at the Triumphant Chart of Noveling Progress. Ms. Nakada told the class to sit down and write our agenda in our Binder Reminders. Truman started reading out his blog that he did yesterday. (Monday) His blog was written very well and Ms. Nakada found no errors in it. Once when he finished reading, he walked back to his seat. Jesse told him to choose me. I asked him to not choose me but, without hesitation, he chose me.
Week 13: G-Q-Q-S
This part of class was very simple. All we had to do was answer the following question, "Have you backed up your novel?" I coincidentally wrote and answered the question yesterday. She also showed Luke how to change his words from 150,000 to 20,000.
NaNoWriMo: Day 5
We started writing at around 10:45. (The class started, I was still writing the blog) But before we started writing, Sadie passed out mini pies to the class! They were very delectable. The class at this point was a little loud, people were making groaning noises and coughing noises. The class settled down after a couple of minutes and Ms. Nakada told us that if we are stuck with our writing, slow down so the reader can comprehend your novel. Add details such as the 5-senses.
Ms. Nakada told the class to turn to the NaNoWriMo page in their notebooks. We had to write how many we wrote each day. We could find how many words we have written so far from the stats on the daily word count, on the NaNoWriMo website. She also asked the class who in the class is feeling good about their novel and who is having trouble. She told the people who were having trouble that the people who are doing good, are going to have the same trouble as you sooner or later.
Overall, yesterday was a quick and easy day.
