NaNo Session ll
Start of The Class
As we all hustled into the classroom, Ms. Nakada gave us new seats. Then, as we got comfortable in our new sheets, we wrote down the agenda for the day. While some people were still writing the agenda, Aria started reading her blog. When she was done reading, Ms. Nakada asked her, "who do you want to pick?" aria just asked for the weal. My name only got put once, so I thought I'd have a pretty good chance not getting picked, but I was wrong. Slowly it stopped right on top of my name. I then slowly made my way into the bloggers chair. Then, Ms. Nakada asked everyone to take out their computers to work on NaNoWriMo for ten minutes.
Week 14 G,Q,Q,S,L
As we finished up on our novels, we opened up our folders and started our week 14 grammar, quote, question, song, and lines. Since Ms. Nakada was absent yesterday we went over the grammar and quotes.
Grammar: incorporating allusion - references to other literature
research - no catches needed -
Ms. Nakada said, we should add an allusion, and research things for our novel. Then we wrote down the Quote which was "To achieve great things, two things are needed; a plan and not quite enough time." This quote is by Leonard Bernstein. This American Composer is saying that if you don't have a plan and a deadline, you will not be great. Then, we wrote down the question.
What are you/your characters most grateful for?
After we wrote down our answers, we opened our computer back up to have the last ten minutes of class to write on our novel.
End of Class
As we were working on our novels, the bell started to ring. We packed up and headed to period four.
