The day started when the bell rung as Luca and I hobbled into the classroom. Once everyone was situated at their seats, Ms. Nakada started the Take a Minute video and everyone took out their binders to write down the agenda and the homework for the day. Sage then read her amazing blog and decided to spin the wheel, but with only the boys. Although I felt it unjust, the wheel landed on my name and I reluctantly moved up to the blogger's chair while letting him know that he was up next to do the blog, a fact he wasn't the happiest to hear. Also, while walking up, Marcel grabbed my attention and let me know he wanted to be featured on my blog, I don't know how that'll work but I'll figure it out.

Once I had gotten situated, Ms. Nakada introduced the question of the week, "Is it harder to lift up or punch down?" An interesting question that the class then engaged in a deep conversation about the ethics of comedy as well as each person's individual beliefs as to whether it is easier to lift up or punch down. After some discussion, Ms. Nakada switched up the question and changed it to, "Is it easier to lift up or punch down?" We then talked about how difficult comedy is and how different it feels when you make fun of yourself vs how it feels when someone else makes fun of you for the same thing. We also touched on how people tend to be more pessimistic. However, Alyssa brought up a point that people who are happier might find it easier to lift up, but someone who might be in a bad mood may find it easier to punch down. Some people also brought up the point of how we respect teachers who respect us back. However, teachers who have little patience for the students and yell at them, we tend to respect less and cause us to be less obedient students.

Then, for the rest of the class, my classmates shared some of their most horrible stories of our collective favorite teacher. I was quite shocked by some of these stories, but Marcel wants to talk so I'll step back from the mic for a second.

Woah! I'm here now. What's up guys, this is wild. I see a flower, a notebook, and Daniel staring at the wall beautifully. Jonah is standing behind me hitting the gangan style. He slinks over to go yap to Luca, I'm gonna go now because I feel like it.

I'm back, it's me Jonah (definitely not Marcel), I love dogs, they are much better than cats.
