THE SCHOOL DAY
As the bell rang, the final students filed into class. We watched the take a minute video, and then my boy Danny walked up to the stand where he presented his amazing blog. Ms. Nakada quickly went over the blog and made some corrections. Danny then spun the wheel where my heart sank as I realized that it was almost certainly going to land on my name.
We then went into our question of the week. We had a lengthy discussion on the gender equity of Emerson because the question was "What does gender equity look like in school?".
Ms. Nakada then wrapped up the discussion. She announced that we were to head to our research presentation groups. Andres (my partner) then came over to the blogger's desk and presented it to me. I learned a lot about Ta-Nehisi Coates from Andres's presentation; the coolest thing I learned was that he was from Baltimore, which is where I was born, so I was excited to learn about another great author from my birth city. Then, Ms. Nakada called for new groups to form, and I called Jonah over. He taught me about Kendrick Lamar.
Hi guys, it's Jonah. I don't really know what to write here, I'm just waiting for Marcel to finish his A.C.E. I see Danny (he makes my heart race like a race car and makes my heart pound like a jackhammer) and I wave but I shake my head as he doesn't return the favor, he didn't see so I get why. Also, my cutie pie Luca is in the back with Truman. I try to make a silly face but he's doing god knows what and doesn't see me. :( I think Marcels finishing up though so I'ma stop typing now.
Woah, I'm back. How did you guys enjoy your time with JOnah, he's pretty cool. I finished my A.C.E. about Kendrick and then conversed with Jonah before the bell rang.
