Beginning of Class:
We started the class by taking a minute to meditate relax and breath, then Ryan shared his wonderful vlog with us. After Ryan finished sharing his blog, Ms. Nakada came around to check and make sure we all did our homework. She mentioned how we all did a good job with completing our homework.
School Trip Discussion:
After getting settled, we started discussing the pages we read last night about School Trip. We talked about how Jordan noticed that people love variety for so many things, but how when it comes to people, it suddenly becomes too much.
List of Idioms:
After discussing a bit of the chapter, Ms. Nakada started to make a list of idioms. Some of them included

School Trip Discussion #2:
A few minutes later, we resumed reading and discussing school trip. Ms. Nakada briefly told us about the bakery that Jordan and the rest of his classmates stopped by, and all of the food variety choices. Once we got to page 123 we talked about how Andy didn't understand why people would laugh at Samira's jokes and comments, but not for Andy.
We read Samira's tips on how to insult people and still keep them as a friends. Ms. Nakada went into a few of the tips and explained them. She reminded us not to tease people for things they can't change such as hair, height, etc.
School Trip Summary:
After that, Ms. Nakada wrote her summary, and told us what our homework for the day was.
The Writing Process:
Next, we started to learn about the writing process and the nessesary steps to write. Some of the steps included...

-Publishing
Reflection Time! (Writers Workshop)
After that, Ms. Nakada showed us some examples of how we could design own writing process. She encouraged us to use paper to express our process. She gave us some time to work on our personal writing process.
A few of us got distracted while writing, so Ms. Nakada reminded us about the importance of staying focused while writing, and working on our writing process.
The End of Class:
We all started packing near the end of class right before the bell rang.
I had felt a sense of relief since I had finished writing my blog, and I let out a huge breath knowing that that I didn't have to worry about doing the blog again for a while.
