Beginning of Class:

We started with take a minute, then Alyssa spoke about her first blog. We spun a wheel to choose who would get to do the next blog. Jacob got chosen to write his first blog, and then he sat in the cool seat. Then, Ms. Nakada went around the room checking homework.

  

School Trip Discussion: We started with opening our books to the last chapter of School Trip and talked about what just happened in this chapter. It started by the school group going to the Church and Andy telling Samira "Are you allowed to go in a church?". After, the group walked around until they found an ice cream shop and everyone got French flavors except Andy that got plain vanilla. After they went to go eat dinner at a fancy restaurant, Andy kept complaining about how bad the food there was and how long it was taking for the food to be delivered.  

School trip Summary

Ms. Nakada finished up the chapter and said the homework for tonight. 

The Writing Process 

We started by finishing up our writing process about how we would Pre-write, Draft, Revise, Edit, and publish any type of story we will write in the future. Ms. Nakada let the class work on the writing process for the rest of the class silently. 

End of Class 

We started to pack up before the bell rang, Ms. Nakada also started to pick up the writing process on paper, while Jacob was finishing up his totally amazing first ever blog.
