HW RJ 7.3 T.O. Ch.4
Start of Class
We started class by doing our agenda. Then, Luke read his blog from yesterday. After that, he then picked me for the blogger.
Readers Workshop
We all read The Outsiders silently for a few minutes. Then, Ms. Nakada said it was time to stop reading.
The Outsiders
We then discussed about what happened in Chapter 3. We talked about the characters that were in the Chapter. Also, Ms. Nakada asked the class what is the difference between the greasers and Socs. We also talked about the blue Mustang. How the description of one of the guys from the Mustang matches with one of the guys that jumped Johnny.
Question
Everyone started to look at the paper that showed information about banned books and discussed. Ms. Nakada then started to talk about the book Flamer that was a banned book. She then started to talk about why some banned books are good for you. She then told the class that we should answer the question by naming a banned book that we have read.
Song
We saw the music video of the song "Freedom" by Rage Against the Machine. We then discussed what the song was talking about.
