Start of Class:

As the bell rang, we all filed into the class with our book projects in hand. As Grace read her amazing blog, I knew she was going to betray our friendship and pick me. As I sat down to do the blog, Ms. Nakada led the class in annotating a poem called, "The Contract Says: We'd Like the Conversation to be Bilingual." After annotating, Ms. Nakada remarked that it was an amazing poem, and we would be writing our own next semester.

Gallery Walk Prep:

Ms. Nakada passed out a Book Project Grading Form before allowing us to walk around. Caidyn bragged to me about getting a macaroon from Jaxon.

Gallery Walk:

We all put our backpacks on our chairs to make room for the gallery walk. As we walked around, Sage tried to bribe me to taste her green eggs and chicken. Several people were telling me not to since apparently, it tasted like toxic waste. As I took a bite of the green chicken, I expected it to be horrendous. However, it just tasted like chicken. Everyone who made food passed it around as Ms. Nakada checked projects.

End of Class:

We packed up our projects and our bags as the bell rang. We then waited at our tables until Ms. Nakada dismissed us. Miri wants to say that it's Pig Day.
