Start of Day
As the class walked in, we started to write the agenda on our binder reminders. Then we started drawing our Creatober of the day. Once we were finished our Creatobers Ezra and Miri came to show us their Brianrot-tober and Miri's Sock-tober. Then Ms. Nakada asked Jacob to share his blog. Once Jacob was done reading his blog he told Ms. Nakada he wanted to do the wheel of names. At first, Jacob put Jaxon's name on eight times and Lucas's once. Until, Jaxon shouted out, "At least put Blace on!" Then Jacob continued to put my name on once, but since Jaxon had his name on eight times I thought I was safe. Ms. Nakada pressed the wheel and it spun until it landed on my name.
Middle of Class
After I was chosen for the blog, Ms. Nakada told us to take out our English notebooks. We wrote in our table of contents for the three new pages of work we would work on today. We worked on The Outsiders Prompt, Week 12 G.Q.Q.L, and the Elements of Plot.
For grammar this week, we worked on the climax, the setting, conflict, characters, resolution, etc. Our quote for this week was, "This is your novel and only you know how to write it." by Roxanne Gay. Next up we had our question which was, what do you want more than anything else? While everyone was sharing their answers the bell was getting closer to ringing.
End of Class
Everyone starting packing up and waited for the end of class. The bell rung and we all walked to fourth period.
