iReady: 90 min. for the semester!

Beginning of Class:

As we all shuffled our way into class. I was feeling pretty good. I had missed morning classes since I was on a school tour, so I wasn't as tired as most of my friends. Everybody sat down as Ms. Nakada called Sage up to the front of the class to read her blog. Okay, Sage, I just have to say, I love you pookie, and your blog was AWESOME!

That being said, not removing me from the wheel - EVEN when I said I was gonna try to do the blog on Olivia's birthday, AND when Grace wasn't even ON IT - was so UN-pulchritudinous! And by the way, nobody knows how to spell that word. Ms. Nakada, I know you're going to correct it, but still.

Anyways. After I had shoved all my FORMERLY neat notebooks (cough SAGE cough cough) back into my bag and shuffled to the bloggers seat, Ms. Nakada set up the computer so I could start writing.

Middle of Class / Lit. Circles:

Ms. Nakada explained our new assignment, Lit. Circles, as she went around checking reading journals and binder reminders. Lit. Circles is basically a reading group, where we all split up and choose a book to read. Caidyn motioned to me from her seat, and we formed a group with Cielle. We took forever to decide, but eventually landed on the book Just Mercy by Bryan Stevenson. Just as we all sat down to read, Ms. Nakada told us to head back to our seats. I of course, stayed riiiiiiiight where I was. Thanks, Sage.

    Week Three Quiz:

The class quieted down as Ms. Nakada opened the quiz. I'm just now realizing that if I fail, everybody behind me is definitely gonna know about it. Great. Thanks, Sage. Okay I really need to take that quiz now.

Okay, I didn't fail yay. Once we all finished our quizzes, the bell rang, and Ms. Nakada dismissed us for fourth period.
