Beginning of class
I made my way into the classroom, and I pulled down my chair. I set down my backpack. Soon enough, the rest of the students had made their way into the classroom as well. We all wrote down the agenda and listened to the take a minute video. After the blog was read, Ms. Nakada spun the wheel, and round and round it went. It landed on my name unfortunately.
Week 8: Line
As I got settled into the bloggers chair, Ms. Nakada went around and passed out this week's line titled "Ain't I A Woman". After she finished passing out the lines to the last of the students, she went back to her desk and announced that we would be watching a video about this week's line. After the video was over we discussed every detail and gave a run down of each paragraph by explaining what she was referring too.
Literature Circles
After we finished discussing the "Ain't I A Woman" passage, Ms. Nakada told us all to get into our literature circles and to bring our stuff with us because we were going to be in literature circles for the rest of the class.
The End of class
The timer for literature circles started to go off signaling the end for literature circles. Groups began to discuss what they had read and wrote down a summary and a question and an answer to the question. The class packed up then bell rang signaling the end of class, thus concluding this blog.
