I.O.&B.A. Essays
HW: RJ 5.3 lit circle books - iReady 8 Lessons
As everyone scrambled into the classroom and took their seats, Ms. Nakada pulled up a video of Bluey because it was the 100th day of school. Most people cheered for Bluey because it's a good show, but SOLOMON was the only one who thought Bluey was bad. Once the video finished, Ms. Nakada put on the take a minute video as people wrote their agendas. Ezra then went up to read his blog, which he started with an "old person" voice until he got presumably got tired of it. After his blog, he decided to put my name on the blog an additional eleven times before spinning the wheel. The wheel, unsurprisingly, landed on me as Ezra looked at me with a malicious grin.
As Ms. Nakada instructed everyone to move into their literature circles, I moved over into the blogger's chair, my hatred for Ezra continuously growing. As everyone was reading and discussing their assigned books, the rooms volume soon quieted down, except for my group who kept talking and being slightly disruptive. As the timer ticked off, Ms. Nakada told everyone to transition into clarification and wrapping up their literature circles. Soon after as everyone finished wrapping up their literature circles, Ms. Nakada instructed us to sit back in our seats and open up our G.Q.Q.S.
As everyone settled into their assigned seats, Ms. Nakada introduced our song for G.Q.Q.S.: "A Change Is Gonna Come" by Sam Cooke. Ms. Nakada asked the class about the imagery in the music video. The class identified protests on the Vietnam War, the BLM movement, and the Berlin Wall incident, which Marcel further elaborated on.
Ms. Nakada then moved onto the I.O.&B.A. Essays where she explains each prompt and gave examples for them. She then provided two choices on where to write it: paper, or Chromebook. As most people took out their Chromebooks to start writing, I got time to finish up my blog but was then interrupted by the bell.
o well :/
