As Ms. Nakada opened the door to the classroom, students shuffled in and took their seats, me giving a sigh of relief as I was LIED to in nutrition when Aria told me that we would be changing seats today. Once I reached my seat, I took my chair off of my desk and got out my English notebook to write down the agenda for the day. After I had it written down, Ms. Nakada started the "Take a Min" video and following its completion, Leslie came up to the front of the class to read her blog. Once she finished, she decided she would spin the wheel to select the next blogger, which you now know is me. I then moved forward to the front of the classroom and sat down in the bloggers chair shortly before Ms. Nakada told us to move to our literature circle seats to discuss our reading.
After Ms. Nakada called us back, letting us know the literature circles were over, we all scurried around and found our regular seats, and I headed back to the bloggers chair. Upon arrival, Ms. Nakada let us know that we would be continuing to write our essays and that the due date was today. Shortly after the announcement, the class fell silent and everyone began their work.
From then on, the class spent the whole time working on their essays until Ms. Nakada warned us of the bell ringing soon. Shortly after, the bell rung signifying the end of class and the students poured out of the classroom and into the hallways headed to fourth period.
