RJ 12.1 I.R.P Books

Start of class:

Everyone walks to Ms. Nakada's and stands in front of the door waiting for their new seats. When everyone sits down, they take out their binder reminders and start writing down the agenda of the day. Ms. Nakada asks who was supposed to do the blog but didn't because of the I.A.B testing. Me, Caoimhe, said Grace and I had to do it; I wait for the computer to be opened and I can start writing the blog. We start doing our week 12 G/Q/Q/L, but we only did grammar and quote.

Grammar: 

Imagery - language that uses the five senses to create a picture

Irony -something happens that is the exact opposite of what would think

Inference - it's an educated guess

Ms. Nakada starts calling on people and Grace shares that her brother puts tape on her mouth in the morning because she is not a morning person, I would NEVER put tape on Grace's mouth but maybe... 

Middle and End of Class:

Ms. Nakada collected book brackets, and then let us have a few minutes to finish whatever we haven't done on the I.A.B. The class became quiet, and everyone focused. 

Grace started laughing out of nowhere and I thought you guys should know, okay bye. 

The class became noisy again as everybody played the headphone thing the state testing makes you verify, but then it quieted down. My Nuala bear walked by, tripped, and then disappeared again. The only thing you could hear in the room was typing, and Caoimhe tapping her desk at the loudest volume possible. Then she started laughing out of nowhere, like who would do that? For the rest of the time the class works on either iReady or the I.A.B and Ms. Nakada comes around and checks out Reading Journals from the week before. The bell rang, and everybody packed up to head to the next class.
