Bell rings, people do their agendas, take a minute plays, you know the drill. Jules presents her fantastic blog and instead of picking the next blogger, she hands our fates to the wheel of death. The wheel spins and spins, landing on... Alyssa. Of course, someone has to complain about this result and of course, that person is Solomon. Ezra´s name was missing from the wheel, so I guess thatś enough reason to respin. The wheel lands on me and I take the blogger´s seat for the fourth time.
Next, it´s time for GQQS. Our grammar is foreshadowing - When an author provides hints to what will happen next in their book and free-verse poetry - poems that don´t abide by any rules or structure. Our quote for the week is by Alice Walker, ¨ No one is your friend who demands your silence and denies your right to grow.¨ This Quote is about how real friends would rather help you grow through criticism and would expect you to do the same for them.
Now we segway to Lit. Circle Evaluations. We must give ourselves and our group-members a grade and criticize their work in the literature circles. I got to write about how bad my group was (Just Kidding) although The Book Thief was a good book it was almost 600 pages and I don´t like reading.
Now it´s time to do presentations for our Black History Month Author Project. My partner is Nason and his Author is Imani Perry. I got half way through My A.C.E when the bell rang. Hopefully, I won't have to do another blog ever again. Now I get catch up on my GQQS, yay.
