Class Time

We settled into class and Jonah read his blog. Such an amazing blog. It makes me cry and in my eyes I see Jonah as a beautiful glowing vibrant angel. He smiled innocently as he read, and the room lights up and I hear violins begin to play. Suddenly the room grows dark. My heart stops. Jonah smiles ear to ear and he grows ten feet tall. His teeth become razor sharp and he rubs his hands together and laughs maniacally. "I chose Natalie and Miri, for laughing at my little tree! Muahahahaha!" Smoke hisses out of his ears and the room feels like it is getting smaller. The wheel spins and I can feel a thick knot forming in my chest. The wheel lands on my name. The room goes back to normal. No singing, no lights, no fire. I sigh as I walk to the front of the room to retrieve the bloggers' computer.

Ms. Nakada passed out copies of "How to Triumph Like a Girl" and we read and annotated the poem. The poem was about how powerful lady horses are and how they make the speaker feel powerful as well.

We received copies of Book Brackets and everyone started to make their picks.

After a concert by Sage of The Book Thief, in song form, we did a gallery walk. NUT ALLERGY CRISIS!!! Then, we looked at the lovely celebrations of literature. We checked our delicious projects by Aria, Marcel, and Andres.

We had to leave! Tragedy.
