HW: Read/Wrote a poem a day
Start of Day
We all walked in and took our seats down from the desks. As we sat down Ms. Nakada passed out papers, which had the class go to the library and collect invites for the award ceremony. Once the class returned from the library, we sat down and took a minute. After that Truman read his blog, and chose to spin a wheel. The wheel landed on Blace.
Once the take a minute ended, Ms. Nakada told us to take out our notebooks for "Week 15: G Q Q L". We started writing the grammar, which was about logical fallacies. After grammar,we wrote the quote of the week which was also a poem. After discussing the quote of the week, which was about water, we moved onto the poems. We started by reading a poem, "The Power of the Gun" by Tupac Shakur. This poem was about the power of things, love, and healing. Then, we began writing a poem. We had three minutes to finish writing our poems, before we began sharing with Ms. Nakada we had written down.
Then the bell rang, and we left the class.
