BLOG BEGIN:

What's up guys it's me, Solomon! I just wanted to say that I do in fact love my parents. Anyways, here's the blog!

At the start of class, after Daniel finished his amazing blog, I, Solomon Khalil Speck, am chosen as the next blogger. I settle into the bloggers' chair, the seat not being much different from the one I'm used to. I sit for a second, waiting for the class to settle down, and overhearing Miri and Jesse discussing their undressing of a poor bunny. After some time the class settles. Now, I continue, time for GQQL :0.

Question: How do you feel about poetry?

______________________________________________________________________

Then, we discuss the topic: How do you feel about poetry? I, Solomon, personally am not a fan, I can see the appeal, but it's not for me. It's just not my cup of tea. I'm also bouncing my legs, please don't ask further questions. Ezra is indifferent about poetry, he would read it if someone asks him, but wouldn't go out of his way to consume said genre. Alyssah enjoys free verse. Skibidi. Now, I share my opinion to the class, how fun!

We just moved on to NaPoWriMo, Nation Poetry Writing Month. This month (September) we will be reading & and writing one poem every day for the remainder of this month (January.) I just got a high five from Nason, he's pretty cool! Tupac is Ms. Nakada's favorite poet, that's pretty cool! Now, Ms. Nakada presents us with a couple of prompts, which we will be using for our poems! Ms. Nakada then asks us what the candle of our heart smells like, and I share how it's red, like the blood of my enemies.

Now we're given time to write our poems, and I'm writing one on different measuring scales. I personally prefer the Imperial System (AMERICA!!πŸ¦…πŸ›»), because it's the most superior. Sage shares her poem, and its very good, quite surprising that she only wrote it in three minutes. Ezra also wrote a haiku, but I wasn't paying attention. I'm sure it was good πŸ‘

Ms. Nakada now goes over homework, we must write a poem a day :0. Here is a sample:
