Start of class:
I made my way into the class and I began to write down the agenda as I waited for everyone else to find their seats and as I waited for class to start. Then, as the class began to settle down, Ms. Nakada began the take a minute video and went around to collect YMCA wavers and passed out more to those who hadn't gotten one yet. After the take a minute video was over, Alyssa went up to read her blog and when she was done she put everyone's name on the wheel once, and Ms. Nakada spun the wheel.
Middle of class:
Ms. Nakada instructed everyone to take out their English Notebook and she started to write the Grammar for this week G.Q.Q.S.L.
Grammer: presentation skills: Volume, clarity of speech, speed, performance Quality- engaging, enunciation, eye contact.
After the Grammar had been written down, we moved onto the Quote for this week by Maya Angelou.
Quote: "If you don't like something, change it. If you can't change it, change your attitude."
That was all we wrote for this week's G.Q.Q.S.L. and the rest of the class we spent preparing for the Get Lit Slam that is on Wednesday.
End of class:
The bell rang, the class got packed up, exited the room and went to fourth period
